Child Safety-Car Seats for Children Under Eight
For families traveling with children, Illinois law requires the use of a child car seat for children under the age of eight. We offer a variety of child car seats upon request for children under the age of eight. However, parents or guardians are responsible for selecting an appropriate car seat based on their child’s age and for properly installing and securing the seat to ensure their child’s safety. While our chauffeurs may assist if needed, please note they are not certified or trained in car seat installation.
Car Seat with Base:
Designed mainly for infants.
The base stays securely in place in the vehicle; the seat clicks in and out easily.
Offers convenience for frequent travel or airport pickups.
Reduces installation errors when left properly installed.
Car Seat without Base (Installed with Seatbelt):
More versatile and can be used in any vehicle.
Requires careful seatbelt installation each time.
Useful for taxis, rideshares, or when switching between cars.
Less convenient but equally safe when installed correctly.
👉 Both options are safe if installed properly, but with-base models provide convenience, while no-base models offer flexibility.
